I just got a set of Sunday 24umph XL bars, part of Sunday’s Plus-4 line of cruiser parts designed to bring a more 20” feel to 24” bikes. They’re 28” by 7.75” and are made of awesome. If you ride a modern 24”, you should be running these bars.

I needed a bike for off-track BMX radness, so I sold my Lemond CX bike and got this. It’s… awesome. Way easier to lift and flip around than my GHP and look at the crazy new school gearing!
My 15 minutes of fame: one day back in August of ‘84, me and a buddy were down at the Parks track in Fullerton for some BMX shenanegins. A few minutes later the BMXA van pulled up to test a new CW bike… Pete Loncarevich himself was the tester. On page 50 in the picture, I’m the 2nd guy from the right; on page 51, I’m the first guy on the left. Blue shirt, yellow pads and grips. Whee!
